How Do I Get Started?

The hypnotherapy sessions take place is a peaceful therapy room in a quiet location.

Getting started is easy and we’ll have a full consultation to assess your needs and address any questions.  Simply contact me and we’ll get your healing started.

1. Book a free phone consultation where we can discuss your current issues and goals.

2. We’ll make a treatment plan together.  This is a flexible plan that can adapt and change as the therapy unfolds. You are not tied into any packages.  I believe you should be in charge of your own journey to peace and freedom.

3. On the first session, I’ll talk you through the hypnotherapy process and we’ll do a light taster session to identify your personal preferences and responses.  We’ll discuss timescales and options for moving forward.

4. The therapy starts and you’ll have a ‘between session’ recording that you can use for relaxation purposes and continuing your progress throughout our work together.

How Does Hypnotherapy Help?

What is the process?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind, similar to meditation, but with a therapeutic purpose.  Your therapist will gently guide you into a relaxed state of mind, where your unconscious mind is more accessible to change.

 

Will I know what's happening?

The majority of people are fully aware of what the therapist is saying and doing.  You will not be made to do anything that goes against your values and you are completely safe at all times.  

What can it help with?

It can help you safely access old traumas so they are released from your experience and brought out into the open.  When that happens then real transformation can take place and you’ll discover old patterns that are keeping you stuck.  That means freeing up psychological energy that can be used to build a stronger, more resilient mindset.  You can greatly enhance your confidence in life and social situations.

How long does it take to work?

Each session takes one hour.  We’ll have a full consultation where I go through the process so you know what to expect.  Depending on the issue you want resolving, you may just want a single session to boost your confidence, or a package of between 4 -12 sessions if you need deeper discovery and healing.  

Is is scary?

Every effort is made to put you at ease and in many ways, it’s a fascinating and deeply relaxing experience.  Traumatic memories can be unveiled, but this is done so you can cope with the material and the therapist monitors your comfort levels throughout.  It only takes seconds to bring you fully back to conscious awareness where your discoverires can be talked through so you feel stable and strong when leaving each session.
