Therapy For Anxiety Disorders

Feeling fearful about life is a normal part of our human experience.  However, when anxiety is persistently present for 6 months or longer, then it’s generally recognised as a ‘General Anxiety Disorder’.

When the mind gets into a fear loop it can be very difficult to break out of the cycle without therapeutic help.

Using cognitive behaviour therapy, you can learn how to change your thoughts and gain perspective on life challenges.

It’s also a great idea to learn relaxation techniques and visualisation, which can form part of your overall health and healing plan.

“After suffering for 3 years with anxiety & phobias, I’m now totally free of all that pain.  The therapy is totally liberating. “

Janet (London, UK).

Persistent Worry

The worry is experienced as very challenging to control. The worry may easily shift from one topic to another.

3 or more of these symptoms
  1. The anxiety and worry are accompanied with at least three of the following physical or cognitive symptoms.
  • Edginess or restlessness
  • Fatigue
  • Impaired concentration or mind blanking

TRANSFORMATION HAPPENS IN AND OUT OF THE THERAPY ROOM

Even though your therapy sessions take place weekly…the healing is a continuous process.

Between session tasks and activities can be agreed so you are focused and nurtured throughout the whole period of working together.

This can include, hypnosis recordings, meditation, mindfulness, exercise, walking, reading, learning and practising new skills.

Most people who attend therapy for anxiety, not only break out of the mind prison that’s trapping them…they also fly and flourish way beyond their own expectations.

Is it time to make a bold move in favour of your happiness?

Well now might be the time and I’m waiting to offer a hand of support and a plan for your life re-invented.
